Is #4 a jaguar or jungle python? A Morelia Spilota subspecies?

I have heard 4 correct species names, but none for photo 1, which is not a fish....

This is probably a poor guess but judging from the teeth:
    Is 1. An American Alligator?

IMO Hog Deer are not as elegant as most other deer, those short legs are the problem.

I wouldn't say this is a reptile. I'd shoot for an amphibian- most likely a salamander/newt of some sort.

That's what I thought. The snout is too rounded.

    1. The snout still looks too thin but I'll guess Chinese Giant Salamander.

But I have heard all 5 correct species, now only someone who puts them in one post :p

As the rules state it's of course up to you to determine the winner and I don't mean to try and take away from Moebelle, but wouldn't DesertRhino be the winner since he guessed four out of the five correctly?

It was DesertRhino who guessed correctly.

so.... is Moebelle going to take his turn, or is he forfeiting it to someone else?

It's DesertRhino's turn according to the rules since he guessed 4 correct.

Add a new rule: if the proclaimed winner does not post photos within 24hrs of the proclamation, anyone can post pics to keep the game moving.

If this rule is initiated then I will post in 20 minutes.

    Edit: Nevermind

I'll take that to mean you are giving your turn to DesertRhino then.

When he logs back on he can then post some photos.

EDIT: the above was posted while nanoboy and Moebelle were posting. Moebelle can go ahead and post photos then (any complaints, too bad :p).

But yes I shall add nanoboy's rule to the play-book in order to keep the game moving in future.
