After 4 days not a single attemp here a clue about the zoo : its in Europe and is specialized in European animals, has however also a number of animals from other continents. Part of the money the earned with the animal they didn't had was spend on a new enclosure for an "exotix" species....

@ TLD NaturZoo Rheine does have more exotic species as it has European species so it's not the one.
@ kiang Alpenzoo Innsbruck does have mainly European species but isn't also the one I'm looking for.

In point of fact, Alpenzoo Innsbruck has no non-European species at all ;)

    What about Wildpark Luneberger Heide?

At least ! We have a winner. Neu Munster lent their male Polar bear for some year out to Zoo Berlin and here he became father of a male baby called KNUT ! Normaly this male had to be send to Neu Munster but because Knut had become quite a populair animal in Berlin, the Berlin Zoo didn't send it back. The whole case even went to court and here it was dicided that the Berlin Zoo had to pay a large amount of money to Neu Munster. The money was spend ( at least partly ) for a new Penguin-enclosure and also the Seal-enclosure was renewed.
Now its up to you lintworm.

I want to have this thread going on since this is fun.

This zoo is located in high altitude and hold one of the rarest animal in captivity.
