Okay, i'll make this easy ( ) ME

    Crazy isnt it?
Namibia is located right next door to South Africa.
I'll be volunteering there for an entire month, caring for orphaned animals like baby baboons, cheetahs, lions, caracals, painted dogs, etc. I'll be learning how to put them threw rehab and releasing them back into the wild.
On the side of all this im going to be learning about poaching, how to end it and futher more help build fences to seperate crops and wells from hungry elephants and rhinos. Conservation is the purpose of this trip.

Im beyond excited so I thought i'd share with you all, I know this is going to be late Aug - early Oct but I started making a site for it ToAfrica Here i'll be posting all my updates ( im doing a cookie dough fundraiser to help raise money for the sanctuary so you can see my progress (NEWS) along with public donations which are slowly coming it

Has anyone been to Namibia before?? If so please share a story or two..or three :D

Very cool. This is fantastic experience for budding zookeepers that can afford it. I love the business model though: get Westerners to pay to volunteer to do the work that they would have had to pay an employee to do. Clever! :D

The way I look at that is a good portion is going back to the animal in order to care for them. It is rather pricey and def not in my budget so im doing small fundraisers to help out. :p
