Two quolls, which I believe are northern quolls, have been moved into the Nocturnal House where the ringtail possums have been held for the last year and a half or so.
A liitle bit of late news: Healsville sanctuary’s iconic wedge tailed eagle, Jess has died. He was in his late 40’s and arrived at the sanctuary in 1972 after being rescued as a chick. Vale Jess | Zoos Victoria
I´m not sure if it belongs into this thread. I found this bit of info in latest press release of Prague zoo: "... Mother of the chicks [means the 3 newest chicks of Little Pied Cormorant at Prague zoo in June 2018] hatched in year 2004 in the country of origin at Healesville Sanctuary in Australia. Father has been bred at Parc du Oiseaux in Villars les Dombes.“
I noticed this hasn't been mentioned, but the pair of Goodfellow's tree kangaroos have a joey at the moment.
