Hi all, I have registered for an account some time ago, but never got around to introducing myself or posting for that matter. So hi, I'm Grover, and I'm from Singapore! I used to work in Wildlife Reserves Singapore as a zookeeper in their Herpetology department, but I am now on a two-year hiatus from that position, though I still keep in contact with my colleagues and sometimes receive updates on what goes on in the department. I'm mainly on here to see some of the rarer species other zoos have in their collections and hope to learn a lot more from everyone here.
Hi amur leopard, yes, definitely! Thank you! Hi Zooplantman, while the ideas sound awesome, I am afraid of it turning out to be another "River Safari," and as you all know it was mostly not well-received. Not to mention the negativity we are receiving now because of the clearing of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve to make way for the new parks.
Welcome to ZooChat. Appreciate more connectivity from S.E. Asia! I wish I could be around Singapore Zoo every day ..., love the atmosphere and the general environment in Mandai!
