Hello. My name is Sarah. I registered on this site the other day and I just thought I should introduce myself.

I live near Coventry in England.

I currently adopt a brown chimpanzee called Mwekundu at Twycross Zoo in England.
Previous to Mwekundu, I adopted Suki and Zimba, Brazilian Tapirs from Twycross Zoo.
My adoption qualifies my for free entry to the zoo for 2 people so I visit on a regular basis when I have a day off from work.

Tapirs are my favourite animals. I studied them for my dissertation a few years ago. I also like lots of other animals.

I like to visit other zoos in the country too, my favourite place being Longleat Safari Park.

Here are my sites with zoo photos etc on:

Welcome aboard. Have you seen the Tapir exhibit at Chester? It has Vicuna and Capybara in it.
Another good site is the tapir gallery. I'll ask sim whether we can have a gallery for tapir pictures.

Sim can we have a gallery for tapir pictures? Like the rhino and Elephant ones.

    Hello.

Near Coventry is a village called Binley Woods.

And yes I have seen the tapir enclosure at Chester, but that was back in 2004 (I don't think the vicuna were in with them then?). I am going to Chester Zoo for a visit in September so will be seeing it again then.
