Welcome to Zoochat. Updates on what is going on at America's oldest zoo would be most welcome. Starting question: are elephants ever returning to the Philadelphia Zoo?
It is doubtful they will ever return. Although the elephants are still owned by the zoo, we may never get them back. This is due to the fact that the zoo is only 42 acres, and we can't expand outside of that area.
