Hi all! Another new member just saying hello!:)

I'm a British zoo enthusiast; I've a life-long interest in wild animals, which i guess came from living on a farm, and i've always been really interested in architecture and the design side of things. I guess a zoo's just a combination of the two. I've visited Chester, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Bristol, London, Longleat, Twycross and Linton as well as a number of other smaller collections.

At the minute I'm sort of in Limbo, my school career will soon be coming to a close but i'm not off to Uni til September. I'm going to study Ecology (any other ecologists out there?) and looking forward to it.

    So, yeah, Hi!

Welcome to the forum. I am also a newbie and interested in Zoo design. I went to the 6th International symposium on Zoo design at Paignton Zoo. I was also on the committee for the design of the Bongo and Red River Hog exhibit at Edinburgh Zoo were I am a member and also serve on the council, so I get to see a lot of designs for future exhibits. I am sure we will have a lot to talk about on this forum.
