Hey, Im looking into creating a research project comparing the effects of enclosure design on Aye-Aye behaviour, between two UK zoos. Durrell Wildlife Trust and an unknown. The second should preferably be around Liverpool or the Kent area. If anyone has any pictures of enclosures or descriptions of lighting arrangements ext they can give me of any of the Aye-Aye enclosures i would be extremely grateful. Lucy
There are very few zoos in the UK which currently hold Aye Aye. Bristol holds them in their Twilight World.
Apart from Bristol, the only others in the UK are at Chester & London, which would meet your criteria better.
Here are a few photos of the enclosures- Chester: Female Aye-Aye Enclosure | ZooChat Male Aye-Aye Enclosure | ZooChat Aye-aye (exhibit) : Chester : 23 Apr 2016 | ZooChat Bristol: Nocturnal House, Aye-Aye Enclosure | ZooChat Aye-aye (exhibit) : Bristol : 19 Oct 2015 | ZooChat And a few videos on London's Aye-Ayes:
