Only two, and these are Lincoln Park and Brookfield.

I should really think about traveling one day to try seeing more out there.

    Of course I do.

Aquariums are up for debate on whether they count as zoos or not. If they do count, then that makes three for now.

I have, very unfortunately, have been to only 9 zoos and aquariums, including non-AZA parks.

    Maryland Zoo
    National Aquarium
    Smithsonian Zoo
    Bronx Zoo
    ZooAmerica
    Animal Kingdom (Disney)
    Plumpton Park Zoo
    Busch Gardens Virginia
    Catoctin Zoo

I was planning on going to Philadelphia Zoo in July, but COVID happened and the trip was cancelled. In December, I am going to New York and I might get a chance to go to Central Park Zoo.

If you're going to go to the Philadelphia Zoo, I would wait until the indoor areas reopen (they're closed), as there are lots of species indoors, some of which are their more rare ones.

Aquariums aren't zoos. They're like them, but they're aquariums, not zoos. I'm confusing myself

In what way is an aquarium not a zoo? Where does one draw the line between aquarium and zoo?

This is how Wikipedia defines a zoo.

Zoos are outside and typically focus on land animals. Aquariums are inside and typically focus on aquatic animals.

I think the thread refers to any kind of place dedicated to the exhibition of wild animals. I don´t see many sense to divide between aquariums or zoos, since the same problem would be with, for example, reptile parks on cold climates or butterfly gardens.
