How many zoos have you visited? (poll 2)

What I am surprised by is that of your 95 UK collections you have 43 I haven't been to, but I have well over a hundred! I have never been to a zoo in England either the Lake District or North of Flamingoland to the east though which may explain it

 

Okay so when I was looking for this post to rank my us zoo visits in another thread I realized that I forgotten to list South Carolina Aquarium. This is nuts considering that not this was a trip from 2020 but also SC aquarium is favorite aquarium of all time. So I feel a bit shameful for forgetting it. However since the visit is more recent than Samsun Zoo and TurkuaZoo plus that I still remember it, I am not hesitant to have this on my list. Which makes it that I have been to fifty zoos even if the crappy shopping mall zoo-aquarium does not count. Yahoo.

 

Here is my end of the year update!

I visited a total of 10 new “zoos” this year, which is a lot for me, though I am hoping to visit even more new zoos in 2023. In contrast, I visited zero new zoos in 2019, 2020, and 2021. My interest in zoos waned during COVID and the preceding years, but I have really enjoyed getting back into the hobby now and I have been having so much fun exploring new places and discussing them with others on this site.
