There is a very good chance I will be in Mexico City this summer and I would love to visit Chapultapec Zoo. How long does this one take to see in its entirety? Is it generally safe to take a taxi there? I speak Spanish but definitely don't blend in.

Chapultepec zoo can be seen in 3 hours, but tráffic is very heavy in that área, so you May take some time to get there. You May with want to combine your zoo visit with the excellent Museo Nacional de Antropología a short walk away. Do not visit on Sunday As the crowds are huge. Uber is safer and cheaper that taxis in that área. Enjoy your visit elefante.

Good to know the Museum is close by as I want to visit that too. Does the zoo close around 5?

It's confirmed I will be in Mexico City soon. So it is better to take Uber than a taxi? Are taxis unsafe there?

Uber is much more reliable that taxis in that part of the City.Taxis are not dangerous in a physical sense, rather they May try to ask for a higher priCe if you do not speak Spanish well.

I'll be aware of that. I'm looking forward to the possibility of seeing the zoo in the very near future.
