Iberian wolf cubs were born in the early June at Veszprem Zoo, Hungary. The male Sam arrived from Allwetterzoo Münster in 2005, the female Szofi arrived from Cabarceno in 2006 to Veszprem Zoo in the framework of the EEP. They prove to be a succesful breeding pair: they had 6 cubs at last year, and a new litter was born now. It is unknown how many cubs were born currently because these wolfs in this zoo have a pretty good forested enclosure with dense undergrowth and the staff don’t want to disturb the animals temporarily.
