im opening a new zoo 2010 june/july need help

    hi i am opening a zoo/adventure park approved by council and got zoo license and dwa and public liability and 20 acres of land and lots of money to spare ,im not going to join any special organisation like biaza or eaza at this moment i wana stay a small zoo and adventure park.
    i am looking for all sorts of animals like maras all primates i can get,other mammals,meerkats and i really want a couple zebras
    if any one has any mammals for sale or know where i can get some please email bk.thnk dom

    OK, cool. You should try going through Google by typing something like 'Mara Breeders, Cornwall UK' or whatever species. Good luck in your endeavour!

    I'm afraid I don't, sorry. But I can give you some advice. Make your Zoo famous for something! For example, a brilliant bird garden or something. I'll have a look around for some websites for you.

    I would suggest you join either BIAZA or EAZA as soon as you are able to as you would then be able to get species from the other members surplus list alot more easily.

    Mr. Touraco Breeder is somebody who breeds birds called Touracos which are African members of the Cuckoo family. I THINK this breeder lives in Cornwall but I'm not totally 100% sure.

    i have a female african serval age 4 and a pair of pygmy marmosets age3 and6

    Another great source for animals are rescue centers, animal shelters, some are open to sending animals to good zoos.

    cool!!! ill would like to help but atm im abit to young!!

    but where did you get the serval

    and i think dudley zoo has some spare meerkats :O or they look spare (female+young without male) unless theyve been moved
