Many collections have animal enclosures, such as walkthroughs, or opportunities to feed animals (I remember you could pay extra to feed the Flamingos at Los Angeles Zoo). One theory of the origin of this zoonotic virus is that it that the virus jumped from an animal, such as a bat, onto a human. Many collections have walk through bat exhibits.

As zoos begin to open up, what might happen to these type of enclosures. Could we see them closed for a while, or perhaps even longer?
