I'm sorry to say this, but the person who signed up last year impersonating an Australia Zoo employee has struck again, this time impersonating someone else in the zoo industry.

The user who was known as Zoo_Keeper_88, has been banned, and their posts removed.

I have renamed the user ZK88 (you'll see that ID against the removed posts and threads).

This is one sad individual - a serial offender.

    Please explain

Hi this is my first encounter with your site, I've enjoyed scanning across the threads and am not quite sure what to make of the entire content but would like to know what this one is about......I'm perplexed why anyone would be an impersonator...in what way and for what motivation????
    PLease explain!

I have looked on for some time now and have often wondered how many on this site are zoo keepers and how many are want to-be keepers and how many are just people like myself that have been zookeepers in the past but like to keep in touch with the zoo world and those that we have worked with in zoos

    what is Nigel ?

Some people have thought that I work as a zookeeper .

I dont -- I dont even work with wildlife .
    I am a clerical worker

I have a keen interest in zoos , conservation , breeding programmes and herpetology ( but as I am in NZ I have no contact with snakes , and limited contact with dinosaurs ) All of the above is a hobby , a bit like some people like trains , and they know every single train timetable off by heart , and the registration of every loco in the country .

I know that there are others of us who also dont work in any wildlife field
but who are regular members -- they have similar zoo interests to me .

If there are zookeepers as members , I am happy that they provide input etc , as it is good to see issues from the keepers sides of things .

And while I am here , I wish Zooboy and any others like him all the best in a zoo career
