A trip to Invercargill for me sounds achievable and even essential with Queens Park, a return to the Tuatararium, and perhaps East Road Pets. Thanks for this list.
So the rest of the (unsigned) species (which I hopefully IDed correctly): Yellowhammer Brown Quail Golden Pheasant Barbary Dove Nanday Parakeet
Yeah, bad ones from my iphone camera. Is there a way to put them on here without uploading them to the gallery first?
not really. You could put them in the "To Be Identified" gallery and then they can be deleted later. There were loads of barbary doves last time I was there. Nandays are readily identifiable. For the others there could potentially be confusion species.
The nanday, golden pheasant and barbary doves are all correct. I think the yellowhammer might be a canary? The quail is either Japanese or painted.
