Yes, the "Wildnispark Langenberg" breeds Brown bears regullary (and even have euthanized a animal because the lack of space), so I'm pretty sure they come from there.
Zoo di Napoli: -It's born a Blue Wildebeest in the Savannah area (it has been attacked by the zebras but it is survived)
Hi,I'm a new zoochatter from Naples! I have some news about the zoo. Are arrived: A common seal Two African grey parrots (a couple,I think) Some American skunks Are under renovation: Part of the reptile house An old area which used to home a species of African goat Are born: A Nile lewche A Sitatunga An Antilope cervicapra A Deer
The zoo will do for the second time a special day for kids about dinosaurs. I don't like that Zoo di Napoli is so much commercial, compared to other Italian parks.
A part of the "uccelleria",a series of aviaries, was been renovated last year. Now it houses Common cranes,Golden, silver,Lady Amhrest pheasants, green cheeked conures, quakers, lovebirds and other species of parrots. This year will arrive Sun conures and Green-winged macaws.
Today I went to the zoo (not a great visit, because there were too many stupid visitors) and a keeper told me that during this week will be opened the former Barbary sheep exhibit for a rare species of monkeys. Then they'll probably start works for new Chimpanzees and Lions areas. There are also 30 aviaries which will host small primates. Unfortunately Sun conures and Green winged macaws won't arrive
Some news: Now the reptile house hosts a Water false cobra (a big rarity!) The parrot aviaries have been slightly modified. Mya and Jula are separated. They are making a new area near the camels paddock
