Ivory-billed Woodpecker to be Declared Extinct

    Unsurprising news in terms of the Ivory-bill, but nonetheless sad. They will be confirmed extinct, along with 22 other US natives. These include several Hawaiian songbirds, the Little Mariana Fruit Bat, 8 mussel species, a couple freshwater fish, and a plant. :(
