I did not see a pudú, nor a pudú exhibit, on my visit today. The article above mentions they were near the manatee hospital, but the entrance to that area was blocked off. Is that where they were, or would they have simply been on the main path of Wild Florida and near that entrance (meaning I'm blind and missed it)?

 

Starting on July 5th, the Great Ape Loop will be altered into the African Forest - opening in 2018.

The pudu exhibit is the yard with the Sandhill crane between the Manatee pools and the coyote exhibit.

Two Visayan warty pigs, a squirrel monkey, and two Tammar wallabies were recently born. Plus a Roseate spoonbill has hatched.

 

A complete reimagining of the Great Apes area is starting construction in days and opening next year.
