    I think Thylo wondered why the post suggested that banded mongooses are scared of meerkats.

    Oh! Sorry if that was a bit of a stretch. I meant Meerkats in captivity are kinda taking over banded mongooses in captivity. Sorry if that one didnt make much sense.

    Are Great White Sharks overtaking seal pups in South Africa? :p I don't see the throughline between shark-seal predation and Meerkats having always been more commonplace than Banded Mongoose.
