Two younger females arrived last year and has been introduced to Enzo. Naomi has been relocated, not sure if it was in 2018 or 2019. Last time I heard anything from Kolmården Iris was still in the group

and som kind of out otter withe the red pandas

I can't see any links or talk about it here except carls latest post right above me but Kolmården just got a pair of Steller's sea eagles from Moscow. Kolmården built a big aviary for them which can be seen in the link.

That's correct, the new aviary is located behind the viewing area by the bird show.

 

The otter that carl earlier talked about is Asian small-clawed otter. New species for the zoo.

Does anyone know if the nile lechwe is on display?

 

I saw them on the savannah during my visit in july so yes, they are on display

 

What about the laggar falcon?

 

There were no birds of prey show this year (for obvious reasons) but they are still on the website so I would guess that they are still in the park

 

on the 12 of september a gorilla was born. the 3 gorilla to ever born in Sweaden. Enzo who was the firs gorilla to ever be born at zoo is the curent silverback and a is father of the new born

The newborn gorilla is a female and has got the name Kione, after her mother Kiburi

A white rhino calf born at Kolmården Friday 13th of November. The mother is Imfolozi that arrived in Kolmården in 2003 from South Africa. The calf is her sixth and her first male. He has got the name Amadi.

The birth was dramatic as the calf was stuck half the way out but the vets managed to pull it out. Both calf and mother are now well and healthy

On April 5 Gorilla-male Enzo and female Babule became parent of a healthy young .

 

Sad News! The baby elephant ‘Prince’ (Tonsak x Bua) has passed away!

In June 3 Cape fur seals (Arctocephalus pusillus pusillus) were born.

In July a male giraffe was born, not sure if he is a reticulated giraffe or a hybrid (according to ZTL Kolmarden keeps both).

Mhorr gazelle. I assume they are exhibitted with the addax at Kolmarden.
