Interesting story indeed, thanks for sharing ! Not the first lizard to be found to be a pollinator though there are geckos which also pollinate plants in Madagascar I believe.
Cacti-pollinating lizards in Caatinga, Noronha skinks and many others as well. But I believe the text meant mainland Africa only by "African continent".
