Not Pygmy Hippo. I forgot to ask you to explain your reasoning.

I will give a clue later, but people from the UK and possibly Australia have an advantage.

The pygmy hippo went into the former Sumatran tiger enclosure, once the tigers were moved on

    Bali Myna?

My reasoning being, after the extinction of the Bali Tiger these were the only endemic taxon to the island.

I think that the tigers in the question might be the thylacines that were kept until the late 1930s: so the puzzle species must have arrived after this date, but as it only "visited" the zoo, it is no longer in the collection. Perhaps it is another marsupial from Australia, so my suggestion is the koala.
