    Interesting photo shared from the Museum of London collection - a model of Moby Dick from the film, on display at London Zoo in 1955. The caption states the model was donated to the zoo after filming was competed.

    Thanks for posting this interesting photograph depicting the model of Moby Dick; there is a similar photo in the Summer 1955 edition of the old Zoo Life magazine.

    The building in the background is the long demolished old Antelope House which was one of my favourite zoo buildings when I was a small child.

    I don't recall seeing the Moby Dick model in this position but I remember seeing the model a few years later on display outside the Aquarium.
