Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could share their diet plans for Lovebirds? It would be very much appreciated Thank you.
A pellet-based diet is ideal, Zupreem is the zoo facility standard but for a small number of pet parrots, Roudybush is my preference. Supplemented ideally with a dry seed mix of mostly millet, some sunflower, and regular servings of green food, fruit (if yours accept it, apples are good to start with) and hard boiled eggs, which provide vital protein. They also like green seeding grasses.
