    I'm not sure what to make of this zoo. Probably not fair to judge it by the photos, but it looks like a dump based on the tiger and cockatoo enclosures. Hopefully improvements can be made if it gets off the ground, and hopefully having some native species on exhibit like the tarsier and the eagle will help build conservation awareness.

    it is a bit of a weird one, opening the zoo on a temporary site with rough-and-ready cages but with a two-year aim of opening a better zoo at a different location with naturalistic enclosures. I rather suspect (but hope to be proved wrong of course) that the latter part won't materialise and the zoo will just get left as is on the current site.
