Manta Rays in Aquariums

    I need to know which Aquariums in the world are keeping at present time Manta Rays, I know Osaka and Churaumi Aquarium in Japan, Lisboa Oceanarium in Portugal and Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Does anybody know more aquariums with Mant Rays ( maybe Dubai ? )and does anybody knows the gedner of the Manta Rays at Georgia and Lisboa ?

    I knew the animal at Lisboa was gone, zootierliste states it left in 2007. I believe it was a female and i'm pretty sure she was released back into the wild.

    As far as I'm aware, Georgia now has four mantas; three females and one male. The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas also periodically holds Manta Rays, and displayed them almost continuously from 1998 until at least 2009. There are several aquaria around the world which keep/have kept mantas temporarily, usually for rehabilitation. One of these is uShaka Marine World in Durban, South Africa, which supplied 'Nandi', Georgia's first manta.
