Meerkats deliver a litter of approval for Zoodoo's breeding program | Life and Lifestyle | Lifestyle and Living | | The Mercury

TASMANIAN wildlife park Zoodoo is celebrating the arrival of its second litter of meerkats.

The six tiny pups, born only 10 days ago, are the siblings of another four meerkats (featured in the video above) born at the zoo on April 1.

"This is [the mother's] second litter, it proves that whatever we're doing is suiting them right down to the ground," Zoodoo owner Trevor Cuttriss said.

Unlike the April pups, who will stay on at Zoodoo, the newest arrivals will eventually go to zoos interstate.

"These are very much sought after because they're a completely new blood line," Mr Cuttriss said
