Does anyone know if the Memphis Zoo still has rhinos, in my most recent visit the map still showed they had them with the elephants or in the exhibit next to them, but when I went to the exhibit, only elephants were to be found in both exhibits. If anyone knows about it please reply

They recieven a pair of white rhinos from Knoxville not too long ago!

To be precise: 1.1 arrived late March 2015. Male Kito (b. 2010 Lowry Park) and female Maggie (b. 1995 Yulee - White Oak).

The press communique underlines they alternate on exhibit with their 3 African elephants. That might explain you may not have seen them on your visit.

To be honest, I do hope they bring in at least another 2 white rhino to kick-start breeding. I suspect male Kito is way too young for female Maggie. She might not accept him as mature enough to be her mate (mated ... et cetera).
