Did anyone read the article by Michael Duffy in the Sydney morning herald on 16/17 April? I haven't yet been able to get a copy so am not sure what it says except that it is very negative about zoos. It is not the first time he has railed against them, at the same time he has supported the live sheep trade, clear felling and the killing of native animals with 1040 in Tasmania and the hunting of big game in Africa, so his concern for the welfare of animals comes across as rather cheap.
