Dodge Nature Center (West St. Paul) Trowbridge Creek Zoo (Vergas) Sunnybrook Park campground (Wadena) has a few whitetail and bison. Lakeview Park (Janesville) and Cold Springs Deer Park (Orr) each have a herd of whitetail. Bell Museum (St. Paul) just has a few herps, I think, but is a GORGEOUS natural history museum.

Wildcat Sanctuary is not open to the public and their website makes it clear that the facility is impossible to visit. However, the enclosures actually look fairly decent for a typical American 'sanctuary'.
