Some more Cheetah news from Monarto Zoo's Facebook page:

The video clip can be viewed here (but probably only in Australia): Blind spot - Network Ten

It would appear that 2 fennec foxes have moved to Monarto. I believe they from Adelaide and used to be on exhibit where the coatis are now. I would assume they are off display.

Info from the zoos facebook page.

Glad about this transfer! Any idea from which Dutch zoo (Safaripark Beekse Bergen …, Burger's Arnhem)?

I'm so pleased that this birth went smoothly, considering the difficulties Forest had last time around.

A female king cheetah has arrived at Monarto from Taronga Western Plains Zoo in the hope she will mate.
The paper say's the two males at Monarto are also 'king cheetahs' is any one aware if this is actually true as I thought they just had normal cheetahs?

was there a photo of the female with the article? I couldn't find anything on Google. WPZ only has two king cheetahs (brother and sister), which are the only two in Australia, but there are of course several spotted cheetahs carrying the same genes. I wonder if the new cheetah at Monarto actually is the WPZ king cheetah or just one of her offspring (spotted but carrying the king cheetah genes).
