Montreal Insectarium

    This morning the German television station ARD send out the movie Le Papillon Bleu / The Blue Butterfly from 2004. Althrough a little kitchy very nice film-takes of animals and the fact that its based on a true story made it intresting for me.
    One of the main characters is based on Georges Brossard, a Canadian entomogist which founded the Montreal Insectarium.
    Has anybody ever visited this Insectarium and does it only contain dead specimens or are there also living animals on display ?
    BTW if you have some spare time, take a look at the movie :).

    I went there a couple times when I was a kid, it had both living and non-living displays.
