On Jan. 30 the 12th Sulawesi forest turtle ( Leucocephalon yuwonoi ) hatched at the off-show turtle-breeding station at Münster .

New Amur Tiger and Snow Leopard enclosures are under construction. The remaining Tiger has gone on loan to Krefeld and the male Snow Leopard to Zürich during the works. The female Snow Leopard is being housed elsewhere at Munster. The enclosures should be finished by the end of 2017
Dear @Nisha, no need to apologize. It was just meant to draw attention to the fact the species was slightly different. Under the old director the Persian leopards were to be dropped ... alas ..., which led to the Zoo losing the studbook (to Lisboa Zoologico in Portugal). Thankfully, the new director has more enthusiasm for the carnivore collection and has been determined to secure better housing for not 1 but 2 large felid species at Muenster Zoo in (the non-too distant) future.

Guereza-female Sabaki gave birth to a still un-sexed baby on Jan. 7 2018. The Guereza's at Münster share their walk-through-enclosure ( ! ) with ring-tailed lemurs and seen the good breeding-results, this seems to work very well.
The information I got said a third species - the red ruffed lemur - has an island for their own and the 2 others are living together in a walk-through... ( ? ).
