    This game is too expansive.

I'd like to know more about the history of this game; @CrashMegaraptor would you be willing to share some information or perhaps a site where we can find something about the game?

I'm afraid I can't really say too much. It has been such a long time now.

How did the buildings in this game work? Did you just drop an aviary and it automatically had ~165 species in it, or could you pick and choose?

The idea was that, as the rating for each "section" went up, the more animals and eventually sections were available to you. But it also required more space so you had to purchase more land.

You had to obtain the animals in order per segment, though. So, if you had a carnivore section, you HAD to start with the Small Carnivores and you HAD to start with the Meerkat...and then when you unlocked the Canid section, you HAD to start that section with an Arctic Fox.

Yeah, pretty much because it wasn't. The only real freedom you had was picking whether you had an Aviary, Children's Zoo or Herpetarium as your first exhibit...and really, it was basically impossible to achieve anything UNLESS you went with the Children's Zoo.
