I guess Zoo Ave in Costa Rica, Monte Kristo Animal Park in Malta, Atlantic Marine Park (closed) in Western Australia..... but I await being corrected. There are certainly a number of others that very few Zoochatters will have visited (Mystic Monkeys in South Africa, Zoo Simon Bolivar in Costa Rica for example - but I know at least one other ZC member has visited these)....
Per the discussion on my zoo guidebook thread here, it seems that @NigeW also visited the collection I'd value your input and memories of the collection over on said thread!
I almost visited a couple of years ago, I ended up stood outside of it and I almost had a spontaneous visit but my family had other ideas.
Assuming TerraZoo is the one in Rheinberg, I have been there, as well as to the Tiergehege im Kaisergarten in Oberhausen (which is a little gem!), and Tiergarten Monchengladbach. My personal best bet on a zoo that no other zoochatter has visited is Zoo al Maglio in Magliaso in Switzerland, near the Italian border. It is very much off the radar for zoochatters are the area is extremely poor in zoos in general.
I reckon my best shots are: Maroparque on the island of La Palma (kinda remote, claims to be the world's only vertical zoo) Stadtpark Erding (so small that it wouldn't be of particular interest to anyone) Tierpark Eichholz in Germendorf (not to far from Berlin, but kinda out there) Eselpark Nessendorf And a zoo that I claim to know best out of all zoochatters, but I think some of you have been there: Westküstenpark St. Peter-Ording
I've been there, and in the gallery, Vogelcommando has uploaded photos aplenty, so he's probably been there too. When I visited, all indoor areas were closed due to covid-19, so because of that I can't claim to know the zoo too well.
A while ago, I visited a crappy little roadside zoo in north Georgia on a family trip. The exhibits were horrifying, but they had some shocklingly rare species such as night monkeys and spotted linsang. The zoo had a drive through safari portion which seemed to be quite popular, but the walkthrough zoo area was empty.
Do you have a photo of the "linsang"? There aren't any in the USA... Night monkeys have become extremely common in roadside zoos.
Not the only one as I have been here. I've been to both these facilities as well. I would also guess I have also been to many of the facilities you are referring to here as being 1 of 2 zoochatters to visit based on your reviews. Definitely not all though.
Sadly,no. They claimed it was a linsang, but it was asleep during my visit, so I only got a good look at its backside.
