    can some one please tell me what are the name of the pair of Amur Leopards at Cotswold wildlife park?

    is the male called Jessei?

    i have no idea what the female is called

    any ideas would be great

    when i went in the summer there was two amur leopards, the old man i call him, the male and another more younger looking leopard?

    I have just found out that the 2nd leopard you saw last year is Jessei's 7 year old daughter Amara. Her mother went to Marwell Zoo some years ago and where she died last year.

    :( some sad news from the park that Jessei was put to sleep yesterday due to serious health probems. RIP Jessei.

    That means the enclosure will be re-furbed to house another species of Leopard now.

    A real treat (no offence on Amur or Persian leopards)!

    It seems clouded leopards are on the march in EAZA zoos?
    Which is next to CWP .....

    Amur Leopard at Cotswold

    Visited Cotswold Wildlife Park on 1st March 2010 -Amur Leopard still
    there! Not sure which sex,but one with short tail.Building a small shelter
    in cage behind Amur Leopard enclosure?.
