    Hi there,
I'm looking for some guidance when it comes to protecting open air animal exhibits from visitors' personal objects falling in. For instance, do you use any type of netting or plastic barriers at/under railings? Open to any conversation and ideas, successes and challenges. I did a quick search and wasn't able to find a thread already discussing this, but please direct me if I've missed it! (Including any hashtags I could follow to find more information).
    Thanks in advance!

Did you also post this on the AZA listserve earlier today, but chance?

I did not - but that's a good idea, thank you.

You'll probably have better luck there than here - the vast majority of participants here are enthusiasts rather than employees

There's a listserve? It makes me happy to know some people are still using those :)

There are dozens of listserves on the AZA site on a variety of topics.

Indeed. And some of them have restricted access even amongst AZA members

Birders are huge users of listserves. I remember hearing a statistic that 90% of listserve use in 2020 was by birders.

Dog people used to have them for everything, but they all moved to facebook. I get maybe one or two digests a month now.
