Any idea about the supplying zoo? BTW: Incredibly exciting changes and new building projects at Jardin des Plantes. It seems to get more rare species every day.

Not an arrival, but a revamp for the snow leopard enclosure La Ménagerie, le zoo du jardin des Plantes
Two years later and the Menagerie is at 62% of funding. You can read about it and donate here if you so wish. In French of course. The Menagerie has had two caracal cubs born on the 3 March 2018, and a lion tailed macaque was born on 18 March 2018. A L'Hoest's monkey was also born on 23 March 2018. All are currently on exhibit.
I noticed last time I said something about the waxwings in Vincennes it got fixed on ZTL. La Ménagerie du Jardin des plantes has some Goeldi's monkeys, ZTL doesn't say so. I've seen them, I swear.
Not mentioned before here on the site but already in August 2 male-cubs Snow leopards were born at Paris. They are now on display.
Unfortunately, the Jardin seems to be under visited and under reported around here. Unfortunately, a ten hour plane ride prevents me from being a regular.
Great news: a baby female orangutan was born at the zoo on 17 october! Now the family is composed by 4 females and one male, Bangii (12 years old), who has become father for the first time.
