    Another great book on equids in general is this one:
    Wild Equids: Ecology, Management, and Conservation, edited by Jason I. Ransom and Petra Kaczensky (2016, John Hopkins University Press).

    I agree; this is a great book; it is the most comprehensive book on equids that I know.
