A new book has been written by top environmental journalist Jeremy Hance about his travels around the world to write stories on the environmental crisis and specifically biodiversity loss.

Hance often writes superb articles for the award winning environmental news site Mongabay. He has covered stories on many of the cryptic and lesser known species such as the Hispaniolan solenodon, Yangtzee giant softshell turtle, the tamaraw, Malayan tapir and the Sumatran rhino.

Looks like it might be a very interesting read for anyone curious about environmental journalism or interested in travelling and wildlife watching around the world.
