    Well done, Vogelcommando

You're right. Did you notice the link between TVs, computers and monitors?

It's now your turn to choose an animal.

OK here's the next one : this animal is found only on one island and was once considered the rarest of it genus. It's English and scientific name refer to a person active in this part of the world.

No guesses so here's a clue. The name of the person to which this animal is named is also the name of a village/town/city but this village/town/city is not within the distribution of the sought animal.

Because this thread is not used for 3 weeks I will add a new species : the subspecies I'm looking for was quite rare about 40 years ago in Western Europe, now it's very common and can be seen even along highways ( at least in the Netherlands ). If you look at the subspecific third scientific name you would however not expect this subspecies in western Europe !

    Hello Vogelcommando

    Thanks for restarting the site.

I'll give a few clues about the mystery male animal that repels females and doesn't like stir fries. One of them went on ahead and got on his marks without using any furniture from IKEA.

    Sorry Wensleydale

It's not a striped skunk or raccoon.

You got it lintworm ! The West European subspecies is Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis so you would not expect it in Europe ! Now it's your turn lintworm.

The young individuals of this charismatic species are sometimes thought to resemble a well-known mustelid that occurs in the same areas.

Hamlet says that a cloud he sees looks 'very like a weasel', so it's obviously a cloud rat :)
