@gentle lemur, creative! but not the animal I am looking for. the animal I am looking for is not a mustelid, it is much larger than that.

A clue: I am looking for a mammal that has it's core distribution in Africa...

I think it's a baby cheetah, which has some resemblance to the ratel or honey badger.

There is still another animal to guess. The male's call can repel the female. Think of a poker-faced lady and a Telly Tubby.

    You are completely right!

I found it a very interesting theory that is stated in Kingdon's Mammals of Africa.

    Thanks Lintworm

I read it first in 'Biological Anomalies: Mammals I' by William Corliss.

My new animal has a rather disgusting name, due to its appearance and feeding habits.

    Hello Gamers

I hope one of you will guess my animals.

I don't think the first one can sing 'Poker face' parrot fashion, even though it sounds like a cross between the Lady singer and the monosyllabic telly Tubby.

The second one is an aquatic invertebrate that sounds like a hungry osteopath with a nosy posy.
