New "Living Planet Report" Seems More Like "Dying Planet"

    It is important to take these so-called "reports" with a pinch of salt. They are propaganda posters designed to scare people.

    There is no fundamental difference between Army experts who always find a threat of invasion, and WWF will always find a threat of environmental collapse.

    I am old enough to remember articles from 1970s and 80s which claimed that a quarter of all species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians will be extinct in the year 2000. I leave it to everybody to decide to himself/herself if it is moral to make doubious claims if you think the cause is good.
