New population of Tonkin snub-nosed monkeys discovered

    excellent news, with a big boost to the known population....if only the forest there can be preserved.

    Update about the few remaining populations :

    - the population of approx. 50 - 60 animals discovered in 2002 is increasing :).
    During 2017 between 113 and 120 animals were counted and now - 2 years later the population stans at between 144 and 160 animals !

    - a smaller population of approx. 30 animals discovered 2007 dropped to less then 20 animals in 2016 and the current stand is between 19 and 40 animals.
