The newest exhibit on zoolex is the snow leopard exhibit at Zoo Zurich. It looks quite amaxing and very natural and is in a set of four exhibits thast make up the himalayas. Siberian tigers, red pandas, mongolian wolves and snow leopards.
I just went on it and was the second person to view it.

It is the best snow leopard exhibit that I've ever seen.

Very nice, Id say there are a few mornings when the keepers check the enclosure they are sure the cats have escaped lol, the camouflage is incredible!!

It is quite funny, I have only just come away from the Zoolex site. I would have to agree that the snow leopard exhibit at Zurich is one of the best exhibits I have seen. The enclosure actually looks like a proper habitat immersion of Himalayan mountain scree. But from what I understand Zurich have been producing impressive exhibits for some time.

I think it's the best snow leopard exhibit I know of in any zoo.

However, visitor viewing areas could be bigger - they look like made for people 2/3 normal size. Paths are narrow and viewing areas are small. Two families with kids and relatives and exhibit is blocked.

Mabe it's best thing possible given limited space (Zurich is small zoo and build on narrow terraces on a steep hillside).

Everyone that was impressed by the photos in the Gallery of Apenhauls Orang-utan exhibit can now view it on Zoolex. I was greatly impressed and hadn't realised just how many islands there were for the orang-utans.

Cool! Hope that they add the whole Wild Asia section of the zoo in the future.

The fishing cat exhibit at Taronga looks really great, plenty of cover for the cats, underwater viewing a great little exhibit.

I'm hoping for a few more Wild Asia presentations. Did anyone else notice on the map they showed of Wild Asia that it showed babirusa with spotted deer (chital i guess.)

sure. originally dhole, babirusa and phillipine spotted deer were slated for the precinct. but the last two never arrived due to quarantine regulations and the dhole never ended up ther either. probably because it would have been too hard to squeeze both dhole and spotted deer under the 3 fig trees

Thanks for that. It would have been cool to see babirusa and spotted deer in that exhibit.
And I just did a count and found out Australia has 9 Zoolex entries and I've seen them all.
