Information on the park seems lacking. Their official website simply has a map and email contact: Parque Ecológico de São Carlos Their Facebook page mostly has photos of people visiting the park: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Parque-Ecológico-de-São-Carlos/275092999234792 Elias has posted a few nice photos which seem to indicate there are some good enclosures. Perhaps he can write a short summary or review on this thread?
São Carlos Ecological Park- São Paulo state- Brazil Dear Friend, Unhappily the website is very poor in information. But in my opinion is one of the best zoos in Brazil. They display only south american animals, being the best areas the Cerrado Area and Patagonia Area. Incredible mammal breeding success. The most prolific Spectacled bear family in Brazil.
For these your best options are unquestionably either Brasilia zoo or Sorocaba zoo (personally I reccomend highly the latter but I am biased). There are five Pampas cats at Sao Paulo zoo but the last I heard about them they are kept off-show from the public as they are trying to breed them and they are highly stressed animals.
