Nile crocodiles slither into South Florida - Orlando Sentinel If the link doesn't work I'm sorry. I did this on mobile (my pandafan account is saved on my phone which is why how I'm using it.)
interesting article, if rather alarmist. There's a news video on there as well but it just repeats a little bit of what is in the article accompanied by stock footage of crocodiles.
Bizarre that such a rare (for private collectors) reptile could be found and really scary if they can get established there.
If they do become numerous, then they could pose a problem by outcompeting the native american crocodiles as well as the alligators that actually live in the park. American crocs rarely attack people in Flordia, but with the niles around, I have a felling more and more people will appear in the news with headlines "Man/Woman Killed by Crocodile"
just as an update, here's an article providing additional information (buried within a lot more attention-grabbing stuff): https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...crocodiles-lived-in-the-everglades-for-years/
