Cuban crocodile’s death at Madras Crocodile Bank raises eyebrows

One of three female Cuban crocodiles at the Madras Crocodile Bank (India) died last week. MCBT is a well-respected crocodilian breeding facility that receives threatened species from around the world, and its owner is one of the top conservationists in the country, so I'm inclined to take it seriously when he says that noise-induced stress led to the female's demise. I was wondering if folks here have any insight into noise sensitivity and how other zoos around the world have fared with respect to this particular urban problem.

Whether this is true or not, putting trees up on the border will usually help.
